Hi,

I have unsuccessfuly tried to install WebDB 2.0 on Solaris Box. We have already installed Oracle 8.0.5 on this box. The WebDB documentation says that I am supposed to install webdb on a different home than other oracle products. Does this mean I should create a different home exclusively for WebDB? Also tnsnames alias has already been created in the tnsnames.ora file which resides in the home of oracle 8 database. Should I create another tnsalias for webdb?

Your help will be appreciated.

Vijay
