Can you please help me understand why is it giving the error message and what could be the possible solution.

Actually Database is already up. However, as you said i have clicked on startup then it gave another error message.
When i view the detail it gives the following message.

SQL*Plus: Release 10.2.0.1.0 - Production on Mon Apr 25 15:54:38 2011

SQL> Connected to an idle instance.
SQL> ORA-01078: failure in processing system parameters

Actually problem is that when i intially start the enterprise manager service using "emctl start dbconsole" then there is no problem. I have attached this view. However, after 5 to 10 minutes suddently i receive this error message.
But When I restart the dbcosole then the error message is no more shown.
Actually, I am quite new to DBA field and require more elaboration from you.
