Is Oracle Failsafe 11G supported on VMWARE, we plan to create a cluster of two vm servers, is it a supported configuration?

Metalink note "Support Position for Oracle Products Running on VMWare Virtualized Environments [ID 249212.1]" is pretty clear on this: no.
If you weant to virtualize, why not use Oracle VM (aka Xen)? It is probably better technology.

according to the note Oracle products are not certified for VMware, but it can work with right ?
there s no compatibility issues with fail safe ?

I wouldn't know, and possibly neither does anyone else. Your client may not be very impressed if you suggest a non-certified environment. But it is up to you.

Actually its our client requirement, hes using VMware for partitioning and would like to know if it s compatible to our product before he goes for a licensing process.
