OS: suse linux 11, 11g rac,

my question is:
DG_DATA1 is external type, no redundancy, and AU size is 1M,
datafile +DG_DATA1/crmdb/datafile/users.259.805398403 size is 5M, but why it has 6 AUs?
and why the AU number is 441,444,441,442,445,442,
can AU cross two disks? i think it can't.
can any one give some explanation?
